When Is the Move?

Who Should Lead the Work?

No. 2 · How It Works

Five Phases. Usually Four to Eight Weeks.

  1. 1

    Discovery

A conversation, not a clipboard. We learn the whole picture: your parent, the home, the family, and what matters most.

  2. 2

    The Plan

A complete Transition Plan: when each thing happens, who handles it, and what is left for you to do.

  3. 3

    The Sort

Patient, structured sorting of a lifetime of belongings. Keep, share, sell or donate, each with dignity.

  4. 4

    The Move

We coordinate and oversee moving day and the days around it, with vetted movers and a steward on site.

  5. 5

    The Settle

New-home setup: furniture, meaningful items, artwork and essentials, so it feels like theirs from the first night.

Typically four to eight weeks from the first conversation to a settled home. A planned move can take longer. A sudden one can move faster.

No. 4 · Our Story

Why Lineage Estates Exists.

A Note From the Founder

I lived it back to back. We moved my dad out of his home and into a senior care facility. He passed not long after, and we went straight into planning a funeral. Then came the long work of closing his estate. My mom carried so much of it, and I was living out of the country, wishing I could do more. I wish we had had help. Through all of it, Jesus carried us. He taught me to look for gratitude in the hardest season, and He gave me a peace I could not explain. That is why I built Lineage Estates, so no family has to walk through it alone.

On Gratitude in a Hard Season

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

James 1:2-4, NLT

On Peace

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Philippians 4:6-8, NLT

No. 5 · FairShare

Why We Built FairShare.

The Why

Faith Is the Why.

When a family sorts a lifetime of belongings, peace matters more than any heirloom. We care how things are handled, not only that they are handled.

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! … Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.

Psalm 133:1 and 3, NLT

The How

  1. Each family member gets a private code.
  2. Everyone votes and weights what matters most with a fixed number of points.
  3. The result is fair and private. A tie starts a conversation.

Included with Signature and Complete Stewardship.

Set up in advance in Advance Planning.
