How We Work
A dignified path through every stage of the transition
Five named phases. One trusted guide. A plan built around your family’s actual situation.
The Lineage Estates Process
Five stages. Start to finish.
Every engagement follows this same careful arc, because a lifetime deserves a plan, not improvisation.
The Discovery
Every engagement begins with a conversation, not a clipboard. We meet with you and your loved one to understand the full picture: the home, the belongings that matter most, the timeline, the family dynamics, and the hopes for the next chapter. Nothing is assumed; everything is heard. This conversation is the foundation for a plan built around your family, not a template.
The Plan
Based on our discovery, we develop a complete Transition Plan that maps out every phase, every decision point, and every professional we will engage. You receive a clear, readable document that answers the questions you have been carrying: when does what happen, who handles it, and what do I need to do. The plan is your guide and our commitment.
The Sort
Sorting through a lifetime of belongings is the most emotionally significant part of any senior transition. We lead this process with patience, care, and structure, helping the family make thoughtful decisions about what moves with your loved one, what goes to family members, what is donated to causes your family cares about, and what is handled through estate coordination. We take the burden of deciding off your shoulders while honoring every item's history.
The Move
We coordinate and oversee every aspect of moving day and the days surrounding it. From selecting and managing vetted moving professionals to ensuring fragile or meaningful items are handled properly, we are your on-site steward. You are not managing vendors on a stressful day. We are. Our job is to make the move feel calm, organized, and worthy of the moment.
The Settle
A new key and an empty room is not a home. The Settle is our new-home setup phase, where we arrange furniture, place meaningful items, hang artwork, and stock the essentials so your loved one walks in and it already feels like theirs. This final step is what transforms the move from an ending into a beginning, and it is where many of our clients tell us they felt the most relief.
What We Offer
Services tailored to your family's needs
Every engagement is custom-scoped. These are the services we weave together for each family.
Full-Service Senior Transition
Our signature engagement covers the complete arc of your loved one's move. From the first conversation through the last settled room, Lineage Estates manages every phase: thoughtful sorting and decision support, professional move coordination with vetted partners, new-home setup, and dignified stewardship of belongings that are leaving the home. This is the most comprehensive level of care we offer, and it is designed for families who want one trusted advisor carrying the full weight of the transition.
Sorting & Decision Support
Sorting through a lifetime of belongings is the hardest part of any senior move, emotionally, logistically, and practically. Our sorting process is patient and structured, guided by your family's values and your loved one's wishes. We help you decide what moves forward, what goes to family, what is donated to organizations your family cares about, and what is handled through estate coordination. We bring order, calm, and respect to a process that most families dread.
Move Coordination & Oversight
We select, schedule, and supervise the right moving professionals for your loved one's situation. On moving day, we are the on-site point of contact, so the family can be present for the person rather than managing logistics. We ensure that fragile, meaningful, and sentimental items receive the care they deserve, and that the day unfolds in a way the whole family can look back on with peace.
New-Home Setup
Moving in is only the beginning. We arrange the new space so your loved one walks through the door into something that already feels like home: furniture placed thoughtfully, familiar items in familiar places, artwork on the walls, and everyday essentials where they belong. This service can follow a full-service engagement or stand alone for families who need help creating comfort in a new community or residence.
Estate & Belongings Handling
When items from the home will not be accompanying your loved one, whether going to family members, designated to charitable organizations, or handled through estate coordination, we manage that process with complete discretion and care. Each item is treated with the respect its history deserves. We coordinate the logistics, the documentation, and the handoff so that nothing of meaning is simply discarded and every decision your family made during the sorting process is honored.

Begin the ConversationYour Private Family Portal
Everything your family needs. One secure place.
Every engaged family receives access to a private portal built for this season of life. It is not a generic client dashboard. It was designed specifically for the families we serve.
AI Belonging Inventory
Photograph any item. Receive a recommendation and estimated value. Your concierge reviews and confirms every triage decision before it becomes part of the record.
Estate Valuation Concierge
Request a professional assessment on any item. We review the AI estimate, add our own notes, and return a documented appraisal: value range, recommendation, and context.
FairShare™ Family Decisions
Our proprietary weighted decision system resolves family disagreements without conflict. Every heir votes privately on a budget. The outcome reflects how deeply each person cares, not who pressed hardest.
Legacy Vault
Record video messages for loved ones. Store a will, power of attorney, funeral plans, and key contacts in one protected place. Set release conditions: some messages are for now; some are for later.
Time Capsule Delivery
Write a letter or record a message and schedule it to arrive on a future date: a graduation, a wedding, a birthday. It will reach the right person at the right moment, exactly as you wrote it.
Faith & Legal Resources
Selected grief resources from RC Sproul, Tim Keller, and others, alongside timely alerts about estate law changes, Medicare updates, and elder care news relevant to your family.
Caring for what a lifetime has gathered
The first step is always a conversation, not a sales call. We listen, answer your questions, and give you an honest sense of what working with Lineage Estates would look like. There is no obligation.
