The Planning Session
We meet with you privately, at your home or a location of your choosing. We document your wishes, the belongings that matter, decisions you want preserved, and family dynamics we should understand going in. Everything discussed is protected by a confidentiality agreement signed before we begin.
Belongings Inventory & Wishes Documentation
We catalog the belongings that matter: furniture, artwork, jewelry, collections, items with family history. You tell us what you want to go where. We document everything in a private digital record, accessible to designated family members through the secure client portal.
FairShare Pre-Configuration
For items where family input matters, we pre-load the decision list into our proprietary FairShare system. Your children can vote privately on unresolved items using a weighted process that protects relationships and ensures the outcome reflects how much each person actually cared, not who pressed hardest. You can even participate in setting the decisions yourself.
Confidentiality Framework
At your option, we prepare NDAs for all parties involved: Lineage Estates staff, contracted vendors, and participating family members. Nothing discussed, documented, or decided through our process can be disclosed without your explicit written consent. This is available to every family, not just those with high profiles.
Pre-Payment & Rate Lock
Advance engagements include a retainer that locks in your current service rate and guarantees availability when your family needs us. You are not starting from zero in a crisis. We are already briefed, trusted, and ready to activate.
