Your questions, answered

We manage the full arc of a senior's move, from the first family conversation through the last settled room in the new home. That includes helping the family sort through belongings with care, coordinating and overseeing the physical move with vetted professionals, setting up the new space, and handling the dignified dispersal of items that won't be making the move. Think of us as the trusted guide who holds the entire process together, so no one has to carry it alone.

We quote one flat fee before any work begins, and the number does not change unless the scope does. Coordinated Transitions, delivered by a trained Lineage transition lead under our founder’s direction, typically range from $6,500 to $9,500. Signature engagements are led personally by our founder and typically begin at $12,500. Larger homes and estates requiring Complete Stewardship are scoped privately. You will always know the full cost before you decide anything.

Five. Our founder personally leads every Signature and Complete Stewardship engagement, and we limit those to five families each year so that each one receives his full attention. A small number of Coordinated Transitions, delivered by our team under the same standards and the same private portal, allow us to serve additional families each season.

A full-service engagement typically spans four to eight weeks, though this varies depending on the size of the home, the complexity of the estate, and the family's timeline. Some families have a firm move date already set; others are still in the early stages of the conversation. We can work within either scenario. Our first step is always a discovery conversation where we map out a realistic and dignified timeline together.

Scope is customized for each family, but our full-service engagements typically include: an in-depth discovery consultation, a written Transition Plan, hands-on sorting and decision support, coordination and oversight of the moving team, new-home setup, and coordinated handling of estate items. You will always know what is and is not included before we begin. There are no surprises.

We coordinate and oversee the move, but we partner with licensed, insured moving professionals for the physical labor. Our role is to select the right partners for your situation, manage them on your behalf, and be your on-site point of contact on moving day. This means you have both the expertise of a dedicated concierge and the capability of experienced movers, without having to manage either yourself.

Items that won't be moving with your loved one are handled with the same care as everything else. During The Sort, we help your family make thoughtful decisions: what goes to family members, what is donated to organizations your family values, what is handled through estate coordination. We manage the logistics and the handoffs so that every belonging leaves the home in a manner your family can feel good about. Nothing of meaning is simply discarded.

Discretion is foundational to everything we do. We treat every detail of your family's situation, financial, relational, and personal, with complete confidentiality. We do not share client information with third parties beyond the vendors directly engaged in your transition, and we conduct all sensitive conversations privately. Our reputation depends entirely on the trust each family places in us.

Lineage Estates primarily serves the northwest Twin Cities corridor, including Maple Grove, Plymouth, and surrounding communities. If you are outside this area, please reach out. We evaluate requests outside our primary market on a case-by-case basis and are happy to discuss whether we can serve your family well.

This is one of the most common situations we encounter, and it is completely understandable. A move of this significance touches on identity, memory, and change, for both the senior and the family. We are experienced in working alongside families through these conversations with patience and sensitivity. We move at your loved one's pace whenever possible, and we frame every step around their comfort and dignity.

The first step is a complimentary consultation, a conversation, not a sales call. We listen to your family's situation, answer your questions, and give you an honest sense of what working with Lineage Estates would look like. There is no obligation. You can reach us through our contact page or by phone. We take on a limited number of families at a time, so if your timing is approaching, earlier is always better.

Yes, and it is one of the most important things we do. Lineage Estates is a family of faith. When a loved one is in declining health, whether in a hospital, a care facility, or at home, any client family may call on us to come and pray. We will come to the bedside, sit with your loved one, read Scripture if it is welcome, and simply be present. This is available to every client family we serve, past and present. It costs nothing. It is not a service level or an add-on. It is who we are. You can learn more on our Ministry of Presence page.
